Brewed with Love in your Hometown
Our Story
On a random Thursday in May 2025, Brewhaus Coffee began in the simplest way possible—parked outside our house, set up in the driveway, serving one drink we believed in: our specialty horchata latte. We didn’t know what to expect. We just hoped a few people might stop by. But they did. Neighbors, friends, and strangers showed up, cups in hand, curious and kind. That day showed us that coffee could be more than a drink—it could be a connection.
Just three weeks later, we found ourselves at our very first farmers market. What started as a small idea was suddenly real. With every cup we served, we fell more in love with the rhythm of it all—the early mornings, the conversations, the smiles, and the feeling of being part of something bigger than ourselves.
By August 2025, we took a leap of faith and bought our own trailer. We built it with our own hands, turning a blank space into a home for Brewhaus. From that trailer, we served countless coffees, met incredible people, and grew alongside the community that supported us from day one.
Now, that same journey has led us to our next chapter: building our coffee shop in downtown Libertyville. What began in a parking lot with a single horchata latte has grown into a dream rooted in love, hard work, and community. Brewhause Coffee has always been about more than coffee—it’s about serving people, one cup at a time, and we’re just getting started.
Meet the Owner.
Hi, I’m Daniela… but everyone calls me Dani.
If you’ve ever stopped by Brewhaus, you already know one thing about me—I love talking to people. That’s honestly my favorite part of this whole journey. Getting to know you, hearing your stories, sharing a laugh over coffee… that’s what makes this more than just a coffee shop to me. It’s a community.
But Brewhaus didn’t start as a shop.
It started in my driveway.
After long days of work, tired and running on little energy, I would still go outside and sell coffee. It wasn’t glamorous. I was exhausted most of the time. But I kept going—because something about it felt right. Every cup I served, every person I met, reminded me why I started. And somehow, even on the hardest days, it was always worth it.
I’m 20 years old, and opening my own coffee shop has always been my dream. A dream that once felt far away is now my reality—and I owe so much of that to my family. Their support, belief in me, and willingness to stand by me through everything made this possible.
There’s also a side of Brewhaus that people don’t always see—I run it all myself. From marketing, to business administration, to accounting… it’s all me. It’s a lot, but I take pride in building something that truly reflects who I am.
My journey hasn’t been easy.
I graduated school at 16 and started college right away. That same year, I was diagnosed with Sjögren’s syndrome and Rheumatoid arthritis. The diagnosis itself wasn’t the hardest part—it was learning how to live with it. Adjusting to medications, watching my body change, and pushing through days that felt impossible… that was the real challenge.
But here I am, four years later.
Stronger. More grounded. And incredibly grateful.
Everything I’ve gone through—the long nights, the tears, the setbacks—it’s all led me here. And I wouldn’t change it.
Because now, I get to do what I love every single day: serve coffee, connect with people, and build something meaningful.
So when you come to Brewhaus, just know—you’re not just grabbing a drink. You’re part of my story.
And I’m truly so grateful to meet every single one of you.
